Geoff Crosby

Geoff picked up guitar in the Boston area in the late 80s, trying to figure out a wide range of styles that he enjoyed spinning as a college radio DJ. From punk and new wave to the new forms of industrial metal that were just emerging, these all pushed his approach to sound and music toward the ambient and textural.

The interesting notes you may hear from his amplifiers are really just attempts to challenge your thoughts on composition, and definitely not mistakes…

He has played guitar and bass in rock cover bands such as Sneeky Pete and Blind Drive, and in original bands Fine Line Forming with Elissa Margolin, Deep7, and a very poor attempt at thrash metal, Schwa.

Geoff plays PRS and G&L guitars through Fractal noisemakers into the searing tubes of Victory amps and cabs.
